Diploma in Pharmacy is a 2-year full-time Diploma course. D.Pharmacy has been designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other related pharmaceutical fields.

The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized educational Board. Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance exam, or merit obtained in the last qualifying exam.

Typical duties of a Pharmacy Technician include: Preparing medication for dispensing and compounding pharmaceuticals, Preparing aseptic products, performing inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, and record-keeping as required under such acts as the Food and Drug Act.  D.Pharma Syllabus is designed in such a way that it includes both practical and theory subjects. the course prepares students to assist in narcotics control, third-party billing, drug distribution, pre-packing pharmaceuticals, computer processing, and clerical and other duties as necessary.
